3 Reasons Your Eyeliner Always Smudges? And My Weird Eyeliner Hack I Discovered So It Never Happens To Me Anymore?

Three reasons your eyeliner always smudges?  And my weird eyeliner hack that I discovered so it never happens to me anymore?  After 21 years of having smudgey eyeliner?

Tired of your eye makeup smudging and melting all over your eyes by the end of the day, like I was?

It was so annoying… I would leave the house and it would look fine.  Then an hour later, my eyeliner would start smudging. On long days the line would even completely disappear and would almost look like black eyeshadow all over my eyelids.

I tried so many different eyeliners.  I switched from a pencil to liquid eyeliner.  Nothing worked.  It would always smudge.

Have you noticed you have the same problem?

Three reasons your eyeliner always smudges…

  1. Your eye shape can definitely affect how your eyeliner wears. If you have hooded eyes, like me, your eyeliner is probably smudging because it is constantly coming into contact with your eyelids.
  2. Some just blink more than others.  When we blink, our eyelids move and fold in different ways, and it is precisely when the skin folds and creates contact that smudging of eye makeup occurs.
  3. Some people have more oily skin, like me, and others have dry skin. The oilier your eyelids, the more your eye makeup will smudge.  Make sense?

It took me 21 years of my eyeliner smudging all over my eyes to finally find a hack to keep that from happening anymore.  And it works well.

It was a little weird and I didn’t think it would work.  But after the first day… I couldn’t believe that my eye makeup looked exactly the same as when I had first put it on that morning. No more smudgy, black eyes at the end of the day. I was over the top with happiness.  Yep.

My weird eyeliner hack that I discovered so it never happens to me anymore? After 21 years of having smudgey eyeliner?

Tired of your eye makeup smudging and melting all over your eyes by the end of the day, like I was?

My sister recommended I start using this low tox herbal eyeliner and mascara.  Truth is, I wasn't sure how well it would stay on...because it was made with more natural plant based ingredients. Herbal eyeliner?  Sounded a little weird.

But the health nut in me liked the idea of  using low tox makeup.  So I gave it a shot. After the end of my first day using the eyeliner and mascara, I couldn't believe that my eye makeup looked exactly the same as when I had first put it on that morning. No more smudgy, black eyes at the end of the day.

It stayed put all day.  And the really weird  thing was… at the end of the day it washed away with just water! Perfect for days when I was tired and didn’t have the energy to remove my makeup (let’s face it, that is most days).

The mascara was extra long lasting too.  The only one I had ever used that didn’t flake.  I was over the top with happiness.

If you know someone that likes the idea of a low tox eyeliner and mascara that doesn’t smudge, here’s what I’ve got. I liked it so much I decided to market it.

Place Your Order For Sunrider’s Sunbar

I have to admit… I love the convenience of fast and easy food, like bars.  But the truth is, I’ve never liked the way they make me feel.  Or the way they make my kids act.  Crazy after.

The strawberry whole grain bars my youngest used to eat were cheap… $3 a box.  But one day I looked at the stuff in it and it made me cringe.  High fructose corn syrup.  Red #40.   Carmel color.  No wonder my kids acted crazy after eating them. So I stopped buying them.

I decided to buy a box of these weird herbal food bars. I wasn’t sure if my girls would like them because you know… herbal bars. 😝. But I liked the ingredients list… lots of plants, herbs, and seeds in them.  And none of the crappy ingredients that were in our strawberry bars. So I bought the oatmeal raisin flavor and hoped for the best.

I was surprised when both of my girls loved them.  Made me happy because they think they’re a treat, but I know the plants and herbs in them make their little bodies happy too.

And because they have fiber and whole food in them, they don’t crave junk food after they eat them.  Like they did with the strawberry bars.  I’m a happy mama.  Yep.

Know anyone who might like to know about a bar like that?

Here’s what we’ve got….

They’re an herbal food bar called Sunbar that have all the good stuff in them… whole foods, herbs, fiber and protein while being lower in sugar.  They come in fruit, cocoa, and our favorite… oatmeal raisin.  One box has 10 yummy Sunbar’s that you can grab when on the go for a healthy snack for you and your kids.  That will actually make them feel good after they eat them.
