A Healthier Snack Option- VitaShake

I hoped you enjoyed your summer! We sure did! But my favorite season, Fall, has arrived and with that, cooler weather. I don't know about you but when the days get chilly, I find myself snacking so much more. I am really trying to choose healthier snack options and stay out of the chips and crackers aisle at the grocery store. Fruit and nuts are always the best option for me. Another healthy snack that I've been enjoying is VitaShake...

VitaShake- Strawberry and Cocoa Flavors

I never used to make very good decisions when it came to snacking. My favorite snacks included potato chips, crackers, cookies, and all that other processed food that leaves you feeling even hungrier than when you began snacking.

But once I hit 30 years old, I started thinking more seriously about the way I was eating. I knew that a diet of junk food grows a junk body. Now I'm not a health nut yet but I do care about keeping us healthy and alive. What's more important than that? Nothing for me. So we switched our junky snacks for VitaShake.

What is VitaShake?

For less than the cost of a bag of potato chips, VitaShake contains a generous serving of Nuplus and is also packed with essential superfoods, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants from natural whole food sources.

Unlike other brands that contain chemically processed or animal-based protein powders, the soy protein in VitaShake is similar to super-concentrated tofu. Also, because they use a whole food base with natural vitamins and minerals in their exclusive formulation, you will absorb more of the nutrients when you eat it.

I love how the handy VitaShake packages are perfect for an on-the-go lifestyle. Each packet of VitaShake is the perfect way to get natural antioxidants and vitamins without hassle.

For a quick snack:

Mix 1 packet of Strawberry VitaShake with a little orange juice and water or almond milk in a shaker bottle and just shake it up.

For a guilt free chocolate milkshake:

In a blender add 1 packet of Cocoa VitaShake with a banana, almond milk, and ice for a guilt free chocolate milkshake (add a scoop of peanut butter for a PB chocolate milkshake). When I want a cupcake on a Sunday, I'll have one. But VitaShake keeps me eating healthy throughout the week.
