3 Drinks We Buy Out And Think Are Good For Us But That Could Be Making Us Chubby?





Three drinks that we buy out and think are good for us but that that could actually be making us chubby….


When it comes to weight gain or weight loss, what we are drinking is just as important as what we eat. Don’t you think?


When we getting our calories from liquid sugar our body does not compensate by making us eat less of  crappy foods.  In fact most of the time if we are drinking crappy drinks we are also eating all the crappy foods too.  Have the sweet drink and then you want something salty too right?


Ok so here are the 3 drinks we buy out and think are healthy but that might be making us chubby….


1.  A vitamin water.  We might see these when we are at a fast food place and say we are gonna skip the soda and order the vitamin water to be healthy.  It’s all in the name.  Vitamins.  Water.  It’s gotta be healthy right?


Truth is, a 20 oz oz serving has 32 grams of sugar.  Right up there with a soda.  


2 An iced Matcha latte. These are quite popular these days.  They’re pretty to look at,  they’re green so we think we are ordering something healthy right?  The grande size has 240 calories and 32 grams sugar.  Not to mention 80 mg caffeine, more than twice as much caffeine as a soda.


3.  We might be out and about and want to order something healthy so we might think of getting a fruit smoothie.  I looked up the one I have ordered and was shocked to see that the small size has 360 calories and 56 grams sugar. 


Now if we love these drinks and they make us happy, we don’t have to completely stop drinking them.  But we should view them as what they really are.  A treat. A fun drink. 


But we don’t want to mistake them for a healthy drink.  Because if we are drinking them all the time, they might be might be making us chubby.
