Sodium Fluoride: used as an insecticide and disinfectant. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate: Also known as detergent or soap. It is a known irritant and contaminant that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration encourages manufacturers to remove, but it is not currently required by federal law.
Titanium Dioxide: Used to provide whiteness to toothpastes, titanium dioxide occurrences in nature are never pure; it is found with contaminant metals such as iron. It has recently been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as an IARC Group 2B carcinogen ''possibly carcinogen to humans'', due to it's causing cancer in rats.
A scary thought to me, because I know what we use in our mouth can absorb into our bodies.
